Stadium Information and Reminders

Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted in Beaver Stadium. Persons identified with alcohol inside the stadium will be asked to leave and violations may lead to loss of tickets. Possession and consumption of alcohol in parking areas are subject to the laws of the Commonwealth, which Police and Liquor Control Board persons routinely enforce through parking lot patrols. Kegs of beer or beverage alcohol, to include "party balls," are not permitted in parking areas. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in the lots while the game is in progress.

Counterfeit Tickets
Fans are advised that the sale of counterfeit tickets recently has increased in the parking lots, the community and on the roadways leading to Beaver Stadium. Unless tickets were purchased from the Penn State Ticket Office, you may have invalid tickets. Patrons attempting to enter the stadium with a counterfeit ticket will be refused admission.

Gate Information
There are five main entry points for spectators: Southeast (Gate A), Southwest (Gate B), Northwest (Gate C), North (Gate D) and Northeast (Gate E). For direct and efficient access to your seat(s), please enter the stadium through the gate indicated on your ticket. Penn State students are to enter through Gate A. Gates B, C, D and E will open one and a half (1.5) hours before kickoff. Gate A will open two (2) hours before kickoff.

Stadium Bag Check
All patrons are required to have bags checked at the gate. Bags or items larger than 8-1/2" x 11" x 11" will not be permitted into the stadium.

Stadium Re-Entry
Re-entry is prohibited.

Ticket Required
In accordance with Big Ten rules, all persons, including children of any age, must have a ticket for admission to Beaver Stadium. Spectators also should be aware that anyone using a student ticket will need to present a valid Penn State student ID card along with the student coupon or student ticket at the gate. Non-students with properly validated tickets do not need to present a student ID.

Ticket Office
The game day ticket office is located near Gate E under Section EJ at the Northeast corner of Beaver Stadium. When tickets are available for future games, they will be put on sale at the game day ticket office. This window opens four hours before the game and will remain open through halftime.

Ticket Stubs
Persons leaving their seats during the game and/or halftime are required to show their ticket stub to the usher before being re-admitted to their section.

Wheelchairs
(Wheelchair Entrance - Gates B or C)

Specially constructed areas to accommodate wheelchair spectators with season and individual game tickets are located in the South end zone (lower, club level and upper deck level) and at field level in the North end zone. Specially equipped restrooms for wheelchair spectators are located in the South end zone and under Section WJ. In addition, all restrooms on the concourse level are ADA accessible. Contact the Penn State Ticket Office (814-863-1000 or 800-833-5533) for details about seating in these areas. Access to upper level seating: ramp at Gate B, elevator at Gate A.

Will Call
The WILL CALL windows are located in the game day ticket office near Gate E and open four (4) hours before kickoff. Identification is required before tickets will be released.

The VISITING TEAM WILL CALL gate is adjacent to Gate E under Section NL in the North end zone and opens one and a half (1.5) hours before kickoff.

The MEDIA WILL CALL is located at the Media Gate behind the main press box on the West side of the stadium.

Articles and Items Prohibited in Beaver Stadium

  • Stadium chairs (chairs with backs) except those without pockets that can be rolled up

  • Alcoholic beverages of any type
  • Containers including cans/bottles/coolers/flasks. Bottled water is available at concession stands
  • Food
  • Bags, including diaper bags and purses larger than 8-1/2" x 11" x 11", or backpacks
  • Umbrellas
  • Strollers
  • Weapons, fireworks
  • Objects that may become missiles
  • Television sets other than handheld devices
  • Objects that obstruct view of other fans
  • Video cameras
  • Noisemakers (bells, whistles, sirens)
  • Poles, sticks (Except those to assist disabled guests)
  • Pets (Except animals to assist disabled guests)
  • Banners (Unless approved in advance by stadium management)
  • Bicycles (Except for police and EMS personnel)

  • All items brought into the stadium are subject to inspection.

    There are no provisions for storing/checking prohibited items at the gates or on site. Leave these items at your residence or in your vehicle.
