How excited were you leading up to the start of preseason? The feeling I get leading up to preseason is rather interesting. It's kinda bittersweet. I'm not going to lie, I get a little nervous, but then there is the excitement of what's to come after making it through preseason. That's when the fun begins and season starts up.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I'm looking forward to winning our last match.
Why Penn State volleyball?
Why not? Anyone who passes up a chance to play at Penn State is crazy.
What is the most challenging aspect about being a collegiate student-athlete?
The long days. Between lifts, classes and practice I end up on campus for up to 13 hours some days.
What is the most rewarding aspect about being a collegiate student-athlete?
Making people proud, giving people something to enjoy. I think getting a big crowd at home games is one of the most rewarding feelings.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Haha, nah. I don¡¯t hide much of anything.
What is your favorite place on campus?
Our locker room.
Who is the funniest person on the team and why?
That's definitely a tough one ... probably Kris Brown. She's always cracking jokes and keeping things interesting.
What's one thing you miss from home?
My brother.
What three things would you bring with you on a deserted island?
Moisturizer, apples and a toothbrush.
What would be your dream job?
Being the host of E! (Entertainment) News Weekly.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Anywhere with sand, sun, salt water and good food.
What is something you're known for on the team?
My ability to dance. I pretty much rule.
What are three words to describe you?
I am an easily amused, apple-eating girl.
What is your favorite aspect of the game of volleyball?
Wearing spandex.
What is the best advice you have ever gotten?
"Negativity is not needed." - Simon Omekanda of the men's soccer team.
What is the most memorable moment so far this season?
Either going 3-0 in coin tosses at Louisiana, or on my birthday when the girls printed pictures of me off the photo gallery on gopsusports.com and posted them up ALL over campus just so that everyone would know it was my birthday.
