Penn State women's volleyball saw six student-athletes honored by the AVCA with All-America honors

2017 (Senior): AVCA First Team All-American … NCAA All-Tournament Team … AVCA Northeast Player of the Year … AVCA Northeast All-Region … 2017 University Park NCAA Regional Most Outstanding Player … University Park Regional All-Tournament Team … 2017 Big Ten Player of the Year … 2017 Unanimous All-Big Ten … first-team Senior CLASS Award All-American … 2018 Honda Sport Award Nominee … Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (11/13) … Big Ten Player of the Week (9/18) … Penn State Classic MVP … Texas A&M Invite MVP … WVU Invite All-Tournament Team … played in all 35 matches and 123 sets … led the team with 478 kills, 3.89 kills per sets, was second on the team with 283 digs … finished the year with a career-best .317 hitting percentage … her 24 aces and 71.0 blocks both match personal bests for a single season … opened the season putting down double-digit kills in 19 straight matches, and 23 straight dating back to 11/26/16 … put down double-digit kills in 30 of the 35 matches, surpassing 20-plus kills four times, including tying a career-best 30 kills in a five-set win at Texas A&M (9/2) … recorded double-digit digs 13 times, including a career-best 18 versus Wisconsin (10/25) … On 11 occasions, she recorded double-doubles with digs and kills … hit .400-plus on 12 occasions, including a Penn State three-set match record in the 25-point rally scoring era with a .800 hitting percentage (17-1-20), as a player must have a minimum of 20 attempts for the record to stick … scored 20-plus point in nine matches, including a season-best 31.0 points in the win over Texas A&M (9/2) … dished out a career-best five aces against Wake Forest (9/16), and put down multiple ace matches on seven occasions … tied her career-high five blocks at Minnesota (11/25) … her 547.5 points led the Big Ten, as did her 478 kills per set … became the 27th member of Penn State's 1,000 kill club on October 6, 2017 at Ohio State with her seventh kill which happened early in the second set.
