Dan Osterrieder begins his third season as a team manager and statistician for the Penn State women's volleyball program. Osterrieder, a practice player with the women's squad in 2005, is a 2005 graduate of North Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh, Pa. As a first team all-state and first team all-district player, he helped the NA squad to three consecutive district championships from 2003-2005. He is enrolled in the Penn state business school, majoring in finance and minoring in communication arts and sciences. After interning in the summer of 2006 at Willis, an insurance broker, Osterrieder is considering insurance as a career option.
