UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; December 4, 2006 ¨C Penn State women¡¯s tennis coach Buffy Baker announced the signing of Denisa Zobeideh (Weston, Fla.) to a National Letter of Intent. Zobeideh will join the Nittany Lion roster for the 2007-08 campaign.

Zobeideh, who is currently ranked 59th nationally, is a five-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net. She is ranked 14th in the state of Florida and 20th in the southeast region.

¡°Denisa is quite simply a fighter,¡± said Baker. ¡°She plays with much passion and has a will to make things happen for herself on and off the court. We look forward to her addition into the Penn State tennis family.¡±

The Nittany Lions will be back in action on January 19 in the Sunshine State for the Florida State Mock Duals.
