UNIVERSITY PARK,; Pa. - Sophomore Petra Januskova (Ottowa, Canada) was defeated by Iowa's Sonja Molnar 6-3, 6-1 at the ITA All-American Qualifiers.

Molnar was ranked No. 37 in the ITA Preseason Rankings. Januskova defeated Olivia Colman of San Diego State University, 6-2, 6-0.

The Nittany Lions will continue play at the ITA Regional in Norfolk Va. Oct. 21-25.
