UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - The Penn State women's tennis team is set to host USTA Campus Kids' Day on Friday, April 2 as it hosts the Hawkeyes of No. 18 Iowa at 5 p.m. at the Indoor Tennis Center. The event is open to all kids in eighth grade and below.
"Kids' Day gives our team an opportunity to share the college tennis experience with the local youth," said head coach Dawna Prevette." We are honored to be hosting the event at Penn State."
The Kids' Day promotion will feature competitions and prizes, including t-shirts, signed racquets and free pizza. All children in attendance will receive an autographed team poster. A ball throw competition will take place between doubles and singles play.
Following the Iowa match, Penn State is at home again on Sunday, April 4 against Minnesota at 11 a.m. Weather permitting, the match will be played outdoors at the Sarni Tennis Center. The Nittany Lions travel to Michigan the following weekend to take on the Wolverines in Ann Arbor on Saturday, April 10 at noon and to East Lansing on Sunday, April 11 to face Michigan State at 10 a.m.
