UNIVERSITY PARK, PA.—The Penn State women’s tennis team will play Towson in the first home match of the spring 2018 season on Friday, Jan. 26 at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, Jan. 28 the team will host Temple at 2 p.m.
Both matches will be at the Indoor Tennis Center.
Penn State (1-0) kicked off the spring season with a strong 4-3 win over Navy and is looking to continue that success this weekend.
Towson (0-0) will be competing in its first match of the spring season. Temple (1-0) defeated Morgan State in its first match of the season and will take on Princeton on Saturday before playing the Nittany Lions on Sunday.
“The Team is looking forward to opening up our home portion of the schedule this Friday,” said head coach Chris Cagle. “I hope we can have a strong crowd out to support the team. This is always an exciting time of year and the team will be energized to play against Towson and Temple.”
Looking ahead, the team will host two more teams next weekend. On Friday, Feb. 2 the team will face Columbia at 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, Feb. 4 the Nittany Lions will take on James Madison at 12:00 p.m.
