SKILLMAN, N.J. - The Nittany Lions stay put at the No. 49 spot in the ITA Rankings released Tuesday night following their 3-0 start to the season over the weekend.

The Nittany Lions got off to a quick start on the season defeating Cleveland State, Bucknell and Navy over the weekend in convincing fashion. In each match they claimed the clinching point before their opponent could even tally one.

Although they didn't move up in the rankings the Nittany Lions were not passed by any teams. Nine opponents, five of which are from the Big Ten Conference, rank ahead of the Nittany Lions with the next closest team being Illinois at No. 44.

The Nittany Lions will face their first nationally ranked opponent of the season on Saturday when they visit Waco, Texas to take on the No. 19 Baylor Bears at 7 p.m.
