UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - The Penn State women's tennis team (1-3) dropped a tough match Friday to Marshall, ending the night with a 4-3 loss to the Thundering Herd.
In doubles, senior Jenny Shular (Peachtree City, Ga.) and sophomore Sarah Lotto (Toronto, Ontario) lost a close match to Kellie Schmitt and Karolina Soor, 8-7. Senior Katelyn BeVard (McLean, Va.) partnered with sophomore Lauren McCarthy (Danbury, Conn.) and fell to Thaddea Lock and Isabell Raich, 8-5. Juniors Dorothy Dohanics (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Lauren Holzberg (Easton, Conn.) paired up against Jessica Keener and Yulia Kashelkina but lost 8-3.
