Went 4-1 at the Cissie Leary Invitational, 3-1 at the Penn State Invitational and 2-0 at the Penn State Fall Classic ... Ended the fall season with an overall singles record of 10-4 ... Combined with Kristine Harclerode in fall doubles play to go 1-2 ... Also teamed up with Katelyn BeVard for a win at the Penn State Fall Classic ... Played consistently at the No. 2 singles spot for the Nittany Lions throughout spring play, posting a record of 4-16 at that spot ... Earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the No. 1 spot vs. Lehigh ... Went 4-5 in spring doubles action with Sasha Abraham, playing at the No. 1 spot for the Lions ... The duo posted an 8-6 win vs. Illinois for their lone win vs. a Big Ten opponent ... Ended the season with an overall singles record of 17-21 ... Went 1-12 on the season vs. Big Ten opponents ... 2004-05 SEASON - SOPHOMORE: Went 19-12 in her Penn State debut as a sophomore, including a superb 14-8 mark in singles play... Went 1-0 at No. 1, 1-0 at No. 3, 4-5 at No. 4, 6-3 at No. 5 and 2-0 at No. 6 ... Also posted a 5-9 combined doubles record ... Was solid in Big Ten play, going 5-4.

2003-04 SEASON - FRESHMAN: Did not compete.

JUNIOR CAREER: Niculescu was ranked No. 6 in U18s in Quebec in 2003 ... Top 16 in 2002 in the U18 Outdoor Nationals and Top 16 in U16 Indoor Nationals ... Competed at the 2002 ITF Group 1 Championships.
