Swimming Teams Travel to Indiana for Hoosierland Open Invitational

University Park, Pa. - The men's and women's swimming teams will be back in action this Thursday-Saturday, November 15-17 when they swim at the Hoosierland Invitational in Bloomington, Ind. This three-day, championship style swimming meet will feature five men's teams and nine women's teams.
The men's teams will feature the host Hoosiers, Cincinnati, California, Kenyon and Penn State while the women's side will feature Indiana, Cincinnati, Arkansas, Florida International, Tennessee, California, Miami (Ohio) and the Nittany Lions.
The women's team is coming into the meet extremely hot as the Nittany Lions have swam to 18 NCAA 'B' provisional qualifying times in their first two meets as well as one NCAA 'A' automatic qualifying time.
This weekend's meet will follow a preliminary-finals format with morning preliminaries being held each day followed by the finals at night for the swimmers that qualifyed for them in the morning prelims. Live results will be available at the Indiana athletics website here.
