State College, Pa.- Freshman swimmer Corrie Clark (Malvern, Pa.) has been named Big Ten swimmer of the week for the week of January 30, 2001. This past weekend, in a triangular meet with Indiana and Michigan State, Clark won three events for the 15th-ranked Nittany Lions.

Clark won the 100 butterfly (56.60), 200 breaststroke (2:16.63) and 200 individual medley (2:05.17). Her victories helped Penn State defeat #19 Indiana 207-163 and down Michigan State 278-91.

With this weekend's wins, the Nittany Lions remain a perfect 7-0 in dual meets this season.

The Lions host Big Ten foe Iowa Saturday, February 3, at noon in McCoy Natatorium.
