UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (Jan. 28, 2005) - The 14th-ranked Penn State women's swimming and diving team only won three of eight events, but the Nittany Lions' depth gave them an 84-62 advantage over No. 19 Indiana after the first-session of a two-day dual meet in Bloomington, Ind.

Eight Penn State swimmers achieved NCAA "B" cut times in the eight events, including two by senior Kristen Woodring (Sinking Spring, Pa.), who led the way with two wins.
