STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The No. 18 ranked Penn State women's swimming team will take on the 17th ranked Michigan Wolverines Friday at 4:00 p.m in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Lions will then travel to Northwestern to take on the Wildcats on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The match-up with Michigan should be very competitive. At last year's Big Ten Championship, Penn State placed second behind Michigan by a mere ten points. With each team side by side in the latest CSCAA coaches poll this year's dual meet should come down to the wire much like last year's Big Ten Championship. Northwestern is also a top Big Ten team and should provide a formidable challenge to Penn State.

Penn State last competed against #8 Florida two weeks ago and lost by a close score of 128-111. The Nittany Lions managed to win five events and earn four NCAA provisional qualifying marks
