Lettered all four years at South Lakes High School for head coach Scott Brown...selected as team captain during her senior season...earned All-Liberty District accolades in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM as a senior...captured the 100 backstroke and 200 IM titles at the district meet...swam for Machine Aquatics Swim Club...also lettered in cross country and track & field.

Full name is Sierra Wright Scoggin...born in Reston, Va. on March 24, 1994...parents are Sam and Suzanne Scoggin...has one brother, Shane...father, Sam, swam at Penn State from 1980-84...mother, Suzanne, swam at Denison...uncle, Matt Scoggin, and aunt, Rebecca Scoggin, were both divers at the University of Texas at Austin.
