Competed in 10 events during her Junior year... Took 29th Place in the Big Ten in the 50-Freestyle, posting a time of 23.45... Recorded a time of 23.78 in the Georgia Invite for a 24th Place finish... Placed 30th in the Big Ten in the 100-Freestyle with a season-best time of 50.92... Posted a time of 51.48 to claim 28th Place in the 100-Freestyle at the Georgia Invite... Recorded a time of 1:54.18 in the 200-Freestyle vs. St. Bonaventure... Finished 19th in the Big Ten with a time of 56.47 in the 100-Backstroke... Placed 24th in the 100-Backstroke, recording a time of 56.21... Swam in three races at the Big Ten Championships (2/17-20) - 50 freestyle (23.64), 100 freestyle (51.79) and 100 backstroke (56.93) ... Strong meet at Ohio State (1/29-30), setting season bests in the 200 freestyle relay (third, 1:35.53) and 400 freestyle relay (third, 3:28.98) while also swimming the 50 freestyle (24.16), 100 backstroke (fifth, 57.99) and 400 medley relay (fifth, 3:53.50) ... Participated in the 100 freestyle (13th, 53.48), 100 backstroke (11th, 59.82), 200 freestyle relay (sixth, 1:37.73), 400 freestyle relay (fourth, 3:30.06) and 200 medley relay (sixth, 1:47.32) at the Pittsburgh Quad Meet (1/15-16) ... Impressed at the Ohio State Invitational (12/4-6), finishing 16th in the 50 freestyle (23.87, preliminary), 22nd in the 100 freestyle (52.41, preliminary), 20th in the 100 backstroke (57.91), sixth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:30.12), 17th in the 200 medley relay (1:48.12) and 12th in the 400 medley relay (3:53.62) ... Finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:50.74), third in the 50 freestyle (25.02) and swam the 200 freestyle relay (1:38.23) in the season-opener at St. Bonaventure (10/13).
2008-09 (FRESHMAN YEAR):
Swam in a variety of races highlighted by tremendous success in relays ... Season bests in the 50 freestyle (23.83), 100 freestyle (52.20, preliminary) and 100 backstroke (57.63, preliminary) all came at the Big Ten Championships ... Finished with a time of 24.61 in the 50 freestyle against Ohio State while finishing third, fourth, fourth and fifth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.19), 400 freestyle relay (3:31.26), 200 medley relay (1:47.80) and 400 medley relay (3:53.21) ... Against Rutgers, was fifth in the 100 backstroke (59.49) and fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:48.94) ... Swam to season-best second-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.92) against Villanova/Pittsburgh/Maryland while coming in fourth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:34.02) and eighth in the 100 backstroke (59.02) ... Season-best time of 3:28.77 in the 400 freestyle relay came at the Ohio State Invitational while coming in eighth. Her squad also came in eighth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.24) while posting a 15th-place finish in the 100 backstroke (58.53) ... Meet against Virginia and Florida State was highlighted by season best finish in the 200 medley relay (1:44.62), second overall ... Other races included fourth-place in the 400 freestyle relay (3:31.26), sixth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.12, also a season best) and 10th in the 100 backstroke (59.50) ... Against Southern Methodist, was third in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.03) and 200 medley relay (1:47.34) ... A day prior, finished seventh in the 50 freestyle (24.52) and eighth in the 100 freestyle (53.59) ... In home opener against Richmond, finished second in the 100 freestyle (53.58) while also racing in the 100 backstroke ... Opened season at West Virginia with second-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:48.14) and fourth in the 50 freestyle (25.07).
Attended Methacton High School in Norristown, Pa. ... Was a three-time All-American for the Warriors, earning them in 2005 in the 200 freestyle relay and in 2008 in the 200 free relay and 100 free ... Owns three school records ... Also lettered in cross country.
