Hargis enters fifth season at helm as swimmers take to the pool for first time in 2012
High School
Lettered five times at Guilderland High School for head coach John Urbanski...named team MVP during all five of her seasons for the Dutchmen...selected as team captain as a senior...competed in the 100 & 200 backstroke at the 2012 USA Olympic Trials...claimed the Speedo Sectional Championship in the 100 and 200 backstroke in 2011...was the 200 backstroke champion in 2012 and the 100 backstroke champion in 2010 at the Speedo Sectional Championships...won the 2010 and 2011 New York State Championship in the 100 backstroke...owns the school record in the 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 50 freestyle and 200 IM...named the Times Union District MVP in 2009...was the 2009 Sectional Meet MVP...was a three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-America selection...swam for the Delmar Dolfins Swim Club...holds the club records in the 50 freestyle, 100 & 200 backstroke and the 200 IM.
