Competed in eight meets ... Achieved NCAA `B' cut times in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breast and 200 individual medley ... Personal best 100 breast time of 1:01.18 earned first place at the Princeton NCAA Qualifier (3/1) and ranked second on the team for the season ... Set personal record in the 200 breast of 2:15.10 at the Georgia Fall Invitational that ranked third on the team... Swam a season-best 1:59.43 in the 200 IM in the preliminaries of the Big Ten Championships (2/18-21), which ranked second on the team for the year ... Member of season-best 200 medley relay team that placed fifth in 1:38.11 at Big Tens ... Totaled three event wins, also including the 200 breast against Villanova (10/31, 2:24.78) and the 200 IM at Rutgers (1/16-17, 2:04.26).
2013-14 (Sophomore Year)
Competed in six meets as well as the Big Ten Championships and the NCAA Championships ... Named an Honorable Mention CSCAA Scholar All-American ... Had the second-best individual top time in the 100 and 200 backstroke ... Member of an honorable mention All-America 200 medley relay team, which posted a preliminary mark of 1:37.91 before placing 16th in the finals in 1:38.17 ... Set personal-best marks in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.22), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.73) and the 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships (2/19-22) ... Helped the 200 medley relay squad to a school-record 1:37.61 at the Big Ten Championships (2/19) ... Topped the field in the 100 breast at the Villanova Dual (1/17) with a time of 1:06.99 ... Also competed in the 50 free, the 100 free and the 200 free throughout the season.
2012-13 (Freshman Year)
Competed in seven meets during the season ... Swam the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships (2/19-22) ... Ranked third on the team in the 200 breast and fourth in the 100 breast and 200 IM ... Recorded personal-bests in the 200 breast and 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships with times of 2:17.53 and 2:00.36, respectively ... Touched the wall in a personal-best 1:03.08 in the 100 breast at the Georgia Invitational (11/30-12/1) ... Turned in a personal-best 50 free time of 23.65 at the Georgia Invitational ... Posted a personal best time in the 100 free in a tri-meet with Indiana and Virginia (11/17), finishing in 52.24.
Lettered twice for Conrad High School and head coach Sean O'Connor before swimming her final two prep seasons with the SoNoCo Swim Club ... Helped Conrad to a runner-up finish at the 2009 Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference L Class State Championships ... Was the CIAC state champion in the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke and helped the 200 & 400 freestyle relay teams to third place finishes on her way to earning Class L MVP accolades ... As a freshman, finished second in the 100 breaststroke, 50 freestyle and both the 200 & 400 freestyle relays at the CIAC state meet ... Owns seven individual school records at Conrad High School ... Qualified for the junior nationals in the 100 breaststroke, 50 freestyle and 200 IM during her club career ... Was the 2010 sectional short course champion in the 100 breaststroke.
Full name is Haley Marie Sinatro ... Born in West Hartford, Connecticut on January 8, 1994 ... Parents are Steve and Suzy Sinatro ... Has two brothers, Travis and Trent.
