Prior to Penn State (2011-12)
Swam at Maryland during her freshman season...earned Honorable Mention All-American in the 200 free relay at the NCAA Championships...took 62nd in the 50 free (23.09), 53rd in the 100 fly (54.79) and was 59th in the 100 free (50.50)...touched the wall ninth in the 50 freestyle (22.83) at the ACC Championships... captured 10th in the 100 fly (54.11)... finished ninth in the 100 free (50.04)...contributed to second-place 200 free relay (1:30.02)... also part of squad that finished third in the 400 medley relay (3:36.15)...also took fourth in the 200 yard medley relay (1:40.55)...ACC All-Academic...ranked second on the team in the 50 free (22.83), 100 free (49.67), and 200 free (1:49.37).
High School
Competed at Peddie School... New Jersey State record holder in the 50, 100 and 200 free... Also holds the state record in the 100 fly and 100 back.

Full name is Carolyn Fittin...born on January 22, 1993...parents are Clare & Peter Fittin...has one sister, Annie, and a brother, Peter...Annie was an All-American swimmer at the University of Maryland...majoring in Special Education.
