Participated in 8 events throughout her Junior year... Took 5th Place against West Virginia after posting a time of 1:54.78 in the 200-Freestyle... Recorded a time of 1:53.06 in the 200-Freestyle vs. Virginia Tech... Posted a season-best time of 1:52.16 in the 200-Freestyle to take 37th Place at the Georgia Invite... Finished 38th in the 500-Freestyle at the Georgia Invite with a time of 5:11.07... Recorded a season-best time of 5:07.57 in the 500-Freestyle at Virginia/vs. Indiana... Posted a time of 2:07.05 in the 200-Backstroke vs. Virginia Tech... Took 21st Place in the 200-Backstroke at the Georgia Invite, recording a time of 2:01.07... Competed on the 200-Freestyle Relay team at the Georgia Invite, helping to post a time of 1:39.57 to finish 12th Place... Also competed on the 400-Freestyle Relay team at the Georgia Invite, finishing in 14th place with a time of 3:28.97... Took 3rd Place vs. Virginia Tech in the 400-Freestyle Relay, posting a time of 3:28.82... 2009-10 (SOPHOMORE YEAR): Media Guide Bio
Took part in three events at the Big Ten Championships (2/17-20), the 200 freestyle (1:51.14), 500 freestyle (4:57.39) and 100 freestyle (52.27), all preliminary times. The 200 and 500 freestyle times were both career bests ... Competed in five events at Ohio State (1/29-30), finishing third in a pair of freestyle relays - the 200 (1:35.53) and 400 (3:28.98). Also placed fifth in the 200 medley relay (7:41.61) while coming in seventh in both the 200 freestyle (1:54.72) and 200 backstroke (2:07.71) ... Finished fourth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:30.06), fifth in the 200 freestyle (1:53.87), sixth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.73) and 10th in the 200 backstroke (2:07.14) at the Pittsburgh Quad Meet (1/15-16) ... Swam in four individual events at the Ohio State Invitational (12/4-6), highlighted by the 200 backstroke, in which she qualified for the finals. She ultimately placed 23rd (2:07.65) while also swimming in three freestyles - the 100 (53.33), 200 (1:54.16) and 500 (5:13.96). In addition, swam three freestyle relays in the Invite - 200 (1:39.13), 400 (sixth, 3:30.12) and 800 (11th, 7:41.61) ... Solid showing against nationally-ranked Virginia (11/20-21) included third in the 400 freestyle relay (3:37.23), fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:54.96), fifth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:39.78) and 11th in the 500 freestyle (5:08.35) ... Swam in three events at Virginia Tech (10/31): 200 freestyle (fifth, 1:54.21), 500 freestyle (eighth, 5:12.90) and 400 freestyle relay (fifth, 3:36.01) ... Placed third in the 200 freestyle (1:52.68) and 400 freestyle relay (3:34.62) and sixth in the 500 freestyle (5:09.75) against West Virginia/Colgate (10/24) ... Swam in both the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay in season-opener at St. Bonaventure (10/13).
2008-09 (FRESHMAN YEAR):
Took part in a number of events her freshman year, primarily the freestyle and backstroke ... Had a strong showing at the Big Ten Championships which included a third-place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:04.20). Also competed in the 200 and 500 freestyles ... In the Villanova/Pittsburgh/Maryland home meet, finished ninth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.64 ... Was seventh in the 200 backstroke (2:07.93) and 11th in the 100 backstroke (59.59) ... Competed in five events at the Ohio State Invitational, highlighted by an eighth-place finish (1:36.24) in the 200 freestyle relay ... Strong performance at UVA/Florida State meet with a fourth-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay (3:33.90), sixth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.24), 11th in the 200 freestyle (1:55.50) and 11th in the 200 backstroke (2:07.94) ... Placed in the top five in all three events at Southern Methodist: 200 freestyle relay (third, 1:37.03), 200 medley relay (fifth, 1:52.70) and 200 freestyle (fifth, 1:54.56) ... Has three brothers: Nate (30), Devin (28) and Matt (26) ... Nate was an All-America swimmer at Auburn from 1999-2001 and won an NCAA team championship in his time there ... Matt swam for George Mason from 2000-2004 ... Anticipated major is art.
