STATE COLLEGE, Pa., September 4, 2000 - The Nittany Lion softball team is back in action this fall after a successful spring which saw Penn State make it to the NCAA Regional for the first time since 1985. The Lions will host two fall tournaments, September 16-17 and September 23-24, in preparation for the 2001 season. All fall games are exhibitions and do not count towards the regular season record.
