ROSEMONT, Ill. – With the conclusion of the 2017 regular season, the Penn State softball team came in as the No. 12 seed for the 2017 Big Ten Softball Tournament hosted by the University of Michigan at the Wilpon Complex/Alumni Field, May 11-13.
With the No. 12 seed, the Nittany Lions will play No. 5 Nebraska Thursday, May 11 at 1:30 p.m. Should the Blue and White defeat the Cornhuskers, it will take on No. 4 Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals Friday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m.
Once again, this season, BTN will televise all 11 games of the Big Ten Softball Tournament live, with each game also available on the BTN2Go platform, either online at btn2go.com or through the BTN2Go app.
Big Ten Tournament tickets are on sale through the Michigan Ticket Office. Tickets are sold out for Saturday, May 13. Spectators must purchase a ticket for each day of play. A ticket purchased for one of the three days will be good for all of the games played on that day. All guests must have a ticket to enter. Fans attending the tournament can park in several free parking lots near the Wilpon Complex/Alumni Field. The primary parking lots for softball are the Athletic Department Lot, accessible from State and Hoover streets, and SC-7, the Lower Crisler Blue Lot, accessible from Stadium Blvd. and Greene Street.
