STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 17, 2001 - Wednesday's softball doubleheader against Maryland was postponed due to anticipated inclement weather. A make-up date has yet to be decided on.

The Nittany Lions will be back in action for crucial Big Ten games this weekend. League-leading Michigan will visit Nittany Lion Field on Friday, April 20, for a doubleheader. Penn State will then play Michigan State in single games on Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22.

Penn State is 25-17 overall this season and 5-5 in the Big Ten.
