STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 8, 2003 - The Penn State softball team's doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at Syracuse was postponed due to weather in the upstate New York area. The game will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Nittany Lions (19-14, 3-3 Big Ten) will host Iowa in a two game series on Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. Penn State is coming off of a Big Ten weekend where it went 2-2, splitting doubleheaders at Illinois and Northwestern.

Iowa is 25-8 on the season and sits atop the Big Ten standings at 4-1.
