Nittany Lion Softball Announces Radio Broadcast Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State softball team will have eight games broadcast live on the radio this Spring, starting with Saturday's game against Minnesota at 2:00 p.m. Radio station 1390 AM WRSC will host the Nittany Lions for the 2010 season.
Beginning with the Lions' matchup with the Golden Gophers this Saturday, at least one game in each of the remaining seven series will have a game aired on 1390 AM. Penn State will have one game of its doubleheader against Pittsburgh (Apr. 6) aired live while both ends of a doubleheader against Michigan State on Apr. 14 will be on the airwaves.
The following weekend, Penn State hosts nationally ranked Illinois at Nittany Lion Field for two games on Apr. 17 and 18, with the Saturday game on the radio. April 24th's match up with Iowa on Blue-White weekend will also air live as will the first game of the Syracuse doubleheader on Apr. 27. Finally, the Nittany Lions' game against nationally ranked Ohio State on May 8 will also be available on 1390 AM.
Each game will also be carried on Penn State's All-Access on GoPSUsports.com. The games will be free of charge and will require a log in.
Penn State is currently 18-8 as it hosts Minnesota (14-20) at Nittany Lion Field on Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m.). All games are free of charge and a team poster and magnet giveaway will be taking place as well.
