2008: Played in 41 games while starting in 37 for the Nittany Lions... was one of two on the team who successfully completed all of her stolen base attempts... recorded a career high five at-bats against Texas (2/15)... scored three runs in as many games at the Pirate Classic (2/23-24)... registered a season high three RBIs with a double against Indiana (3/30).

2007: Started 40 of 41 games... hit a two-RBI double in victory at North Carolina (2/11)... had two RBI and a single in 10-1 win over Columbia (3/2)... hit a single in upset win over No. 8 Texas (3/16)... smacked an RBI double in win over St. Francis (3/28)... had three hits, including a double, in Wisconsin series (3/30-31)... cracked her first homer of the season, a two-run shot to give Penn State the lead in 3-0 win over Kent State (4/11)... set a school record with seven RBIs against Bucknell, hit two three-run homers and had an RBI walk... hit safely in nine straight games, dating from game one at Illinois (4/22) through the first game at Maryland (5/2).

2006: Made 17 appearances with 12 at-bats... went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored, including her first career homerun, in a two-game span vs. Detroit Mercy (3/7-8)... also scored two other times: vs. Missouri State (2/25) and at Ohio State (5/7)... walked twice and had one sacrifice fly (at Hofstra, 5/21).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first team all-area and second team all-state her senior year after earning first team all-county her junior year... named second team all-county freshman and sophomore years... named team captain her senior year... led the team in 10 offensive categories including having the highest team batting average... her high school team went undefeated in their conference in 2005... her club team, the Diamond Dolls, won four championship games during the summer of 2005... earned 11 varsity letters in softball (4), soccer (4) and basketball (3).

PERSONAL: Shana Marie Madura was born on May 26, 1987, the daughter of Christopher and Denise Madura... has a younger sister Brooke (17)... she is majoring in rehabilitation services with a focus on occupational therapy
