Lion Career
2007: Started 20 of the 21 games she played... a solid defender at second base, had 39 putouts and 47 assists...tore her ACL in upset win over No. 8 Texas and missed the rest of the season.
2006: Appeared in 23 games... had three hits, one each vs. Longwood (2/18), Missouri State (2/25), UNLV (3/10), where she was 1-for-2 on the day, and vs. Ohio State (5/12) in the Big Ten Tournament, where she recorded a hit in her only at-bat... scored two runs, one each vs. Longwood (2/18) and Ohio State (5/12) in the Big Ten Tournament... had a season-high three at-bats four times... had 27 put-outs.
2005: Started the first 28 games at second base before breaking her clavicle at practice on April 6... batted 5-for-39 (.128) before being sidelined... smacked a home run against St. Francis (3/30, game 2)... went 1-for-1 with her first RBI against Long Beach State (3/20)... was a combined 4-for-5 in the doubleheader with St. Francis (3/30), driving in three runs in game one and another two in game two for a five-RBI day... hit doubles vs. Long Beach (3/20) and St. Francis (3/30, game 1)... scored 10 runs on the year... earned five walks
High School
Earned six varsity letters at Elk Grove... two-time first team All-Delta League, she also earned a second team nod her sophomore season... team captain in 2003 and 2004, her Elk Grove team was tri-champs her junior season and claimed the championship her senior year... second team all-city her senior year... won the Golden Glove Award twice.

The daughter of Manuel and Olga Bautista, her full name is Rebecca Jeanette Bautista... looks to major in mechanical engineering... has two older brothers Bobby (37) and Chris (32) and an older sister Lisa (21)... born July 16, 1987 she enjoys snowboarding and spending time with her family.
