Abello Attends U.S. U-19 WNT Training Camp

Incoming freshman Kerry Abello traveled to the Czech Republic with the U.S. U-19 WNT

Played in 15 matches during her freshman season…Recorded four shot attempts on the year…Made her Penn State debut in the season opener against BYU and played 24 minutes (8/18)…Played a season-high 45 minutes against Hofstra (8/20).

U.S. NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE
Traveled to Australia for a training camp and three matches with the U.S. U-18 WNT (July 2017)...Attended training camps with the U.S. U-19 WNT (June 2017, May 2017 & February 2017)...A member of the U.S. Women’s National Team at the U-14, U-15, U-17, U-18, and U-19 levels...Abello and, classmate, Shea Moyer, played for the U.S. U-18 WNT at the 2016 Women’s International Cup in Ireland (Oct. 2016).

Ranked No. 12 overall, and the No. 2 defender, in the 2017 class by TopDrawerSoccer...Three-time NSCAA All-American (2014-16)...Played club soccer for Eclipse Select...Played one year of high school soccer at Benet Academy.
