UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Head coach Missy Doherty and the Penn State women's lacrosse team will host a free Coaches Clinic and Players Clinic Saturday, Jan. 12.

The Coaches Clinic will be held at Room 133 in East Locker Room from 10 a.m.-noon. The clinic will focus on learning basic to advanced skills and concepts through chalk-talks, video and live demonstrations. There will be a focus on both individual skills and team concepts, such as basic and advanced stick work, dodging, shooting, 1-on-1 defense, double teams and transition.

The women's lacrosse team will then host a Players Clinic from 1-4 p.m. at Holuba Hall. The clinic is open to players of all ages and skill levels, and groups will be divided based on age and skill for best instruction. Stick work, shooting, dodging, picks and movement, 1-on-1 defense, sliding, double teams and communication will be discussed.

To confirm your spot in either the Coaches Clinic or Players Clinic, please email assistant coach Brooke Matthews (ebm12@psu.edu) by Jan. 3.
