VIDEO: Play for Parkinson's Series Feature

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Penn State women's lacrosse team will travel to Alexandria, Va., this weekend to participate in the Parkinson's Lacrosse Series. The tournament will take place at Episcopal High School and feature 12 outstanding teams from across the country.

The series in an effort to benefit the ProjectSpark foundation will help in raising money toward finding a cure for Parkinson's disease. The team and coaches are looking forward to an exciting weekend of competition and helping contribute toward a great cause.

Penn State will begin its portion of the series on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. when they take on the Georgetown Hoyas. The team will resume action at 1 p.m. against that Stanford Cardinals and close the series at 3 p.m. against the Maryland Terrapins.
