UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., April 21, 2005 -- The 10th-ranked Penn State women's lacrosse team hosts to crucial American Lacrosse Conference contests this weekend at Jeffrey Field. The Nittany Lions (8-4, 2-1 ALC) takes on No. 19 Ohio State (5-6, 3-1 ALC) on Friday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. before squaring off against Ohio (3-8, 1-4 ALC) on Sunday, April 24 at noon, also at Jeffrey Field.

Admission to both contests is free.

Spectators are asked to park in the grass lots next to the IM building off of University Drive. This lot will be marked for carnival parking and spectators will not be charged. If fans enter Stadium West, they may be charged to park because of the Ron White show at the Bryce Jordan Center at the same time. Fans are also reminded that it is Blue-White football weekend and plan travel times accordingly.

Penn State versus Ohio State
Penn State leads the series with Ohio State, 6-2. The last meeting was a 13-10 Nittany Lion victory on April 23, 2004 in Columbus. The last meeting in State College was a 10-9 Buckeye win on April 27, 2003. The last Penn State win in State College was a 15-10 victory on April 28, 2001.

Penn State leads the series with 4-1. The last meeting was a 8-7 Bobcat win on April 25, 2004 in Athens, Ohio. The last Nittany Lion win was a 16-5 victory on April 25, 2003 in State College.
