Women's Lacrosse vs. Virginia Match Moved to Holuba Hall

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Mar. 10, 2004 - The Penn State women¡¯s lacrosse match against Virginia has been moved indoors to Holuba Hall. The Lions (1-2, 1-1) will take on the Cavaliers (3-1, 1-0) on Friday Mar. 12 at 4:00 p.m.

This will be the 15th meeting between the two squads in a series that started in 1983. Virginia owns the series lead against Penn State 11-3 with the Lions¡¯ last win coming against the Cavs in 1996. Last year Penn State lost a close match at Virginia 9-15. Seniors Katie Jeschke (Ellicott City, Md.) and Katie Hartman (Annapolis, Md.) each tallied three goals to help the Lions¡¯ cause.

Penn State will also be in action at home on Sunday Mar. 14 when they take on William and Mary in a non-conference match at 12:00 p.m.
