BEFORE PENN STATE
A 2017 graduate of Gulf Coast High School … was a two-time US Lacrosse High School First-Team All-American her junior and senior seasons … helped lead her team to consecutive district championships in 2016 and 2017 … served as team captain during her senior season … named Team MVP both her junior and senior seasons … registered 259 points over her final two years of high school on 174 goals and 85 assists … Carroll also represented the United States in Scotland for the World Games and is a Brine All-American … was also a member of the field hockey and swimming teams in high school … played five years of club lacrosse for Lax Maniax.
Mackenzie Ann Carroll was born on August 6, 1998 to Dori and Rich Carroll in Stamford, Connecticut … has an older brother CJ, an older sister Lexi, a twin brother Ryan and two younger brothers Jason and Shane … her sister Lexi was a member of the Penn State gymnastics team from 2011-15 and her brother CJ plays football at Virginia Tech … undecided on a major.
