2010 (Junior): Started all 17 games...One of seven Nittany Lions to score 20 or more goals (20)...Tied for third on the team in assists (13) and ranked fourth in points (33)...Recorded hat tricks in wins over Delaware (3/13), Lehigh (4/7), and Ohio State (4/18)...Scored game winning goals against Lafayette (3/24) and Temple (5/1)...Posted a season and career high seven points (4 goals, 3 assists) in win over Lafayette (3/24)...Tallied a season and career best four assists versus Colgate (2/28)...Ranked first in shot on goals percentage (.889) (5 + shots)...Ended the season with 15 ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers.

2009 (Sophomore): Played in seven games...Scored three goals and notched one assist...Had first career multiple goal and point game in 18-5 rout of Bucknell (2/25), totaling two goals and one assist...Collected three ground balls and caused one turnover.

2009 (Freshman): Did not play...Transferred from the University of Louisville.

Led Cheltenham H.S. (Wyncote, Pa.) to its first-ever Suburban One American League championship in 2007 and to an undefeated record...First Team Suburban One as a sophomore, junior, and senior...Honorable Mention Suburban One as a freshman...All-American in 2006 (Honorable Mention) and 2007 (First Team)...The inaugural recipient of the Beth Stone Award for Outstanding High School Lacrosse Player in senior division of national tournament...Named team MVP and captain in 2006 and 2007...Won the outstanding athlete award of her senior class...Holds the school record for goals (332) and assists (274), totaling 606 points...Eight time letter winner (lacrosse and field hockey)...Named second team all-conference in field hockey as a junior and senior...MVP and captain of field hockey team as a senior...Played on Ultimate Goal club team...Named Galaxy League First Team in 2006 and Second Team in 2005...Keystone Games lacrosse MVP (2005-06)...Delaware Valley Athlete of the Year (2005).

Mary Eaton Dean was born on May 17, 1989 in Cape May, N.J. to parents Christopher and Didi Dean...Has two older siblings, Chris and Caroline...Sister, Caroline, also attends Penn State...Plans to pursue a degree in Sport Management.
