Penn State WomenĄŻs Gymnast Lisa Clark Finishes Seventh On The Vault

Los Angeles, April 15, 2004 - Penn State women's gymnast Lisa Clark (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored a 9.875 on the vault to finish tied for seventh in the first session of the NCAA National Championships in Los Angeles. She also scored a 9.525 on the floor. The top four performers on each event from the two sessions advance to compete for the individual event National Championships on Saturday.

Clark qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual competitor after placing first on both the vault and floor at the NCAA Regional Championships hosted by Penn State on April 3. She scored a career-high 9.950 on the vault at Regionals and also recorded a 9.900 on the floor.
