UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., March 9, 2004 -- The 25th-ranked Penn State women's gymnastics team (6-4-2) plays host to 12th-ranked Oklahoma on Saturday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Rec Hall. The meet, which is a double-dual with the Penn State men's team versus Army, also marks Senior Night for both Nittany Lion squads.

Co-captain Kelly Streicher (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will be honored at the meet for her contributions to the Penn State women's gymnastics program.

Series Record
Penn State leads the series with Oklahoma, 2-1. The last meeting was on Feb. 7, 2003 at Oklahoma and was a 195.800 to 195.450 Sooner victory. The last Penn State win was on Jan. 11, 2003 at the Super Six Challenge, 194.375 to 193.275.

Last Time Out
For only the fourth time in program history, and the second time this season, Penn State ended a meet with a tie, equaling New Hampshire, 196.375 to 196.375. The Nittany Lions broke 196 for the first time this season, aided by a season-high team bars score of 49.350. Junior Lisa Clark tied for first on the floor with a career-high 9.925 and Meredith Hoover was Penn State¡¯s top finisher on the beam, scoring a third place 9.875 along with freshman Genavieve Shingle. Sophomore Michelle Ilg set a new personal best with a first place 9.900 on the bars and Clark tied for second on the vault with a 9.875. Hoover set a career high in the all-around, posting a 39.300 and senior Kelly Streicher notched a personal best 9.875 on the bars.
