UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; January 4, 2007 ¨C The 14th-ranked Penn State women¡¯s gymnastics team opens up the 2007 slate at the Super Six Challenge on Friday, Jan. 5 in Fayetteville, Ark. The Nittany Lions take on No. 3 Florida, No. 7 Nebraska, No. 9 LSU, No. 15 and host Arkansas and No. 17 Denver in the meet, which will be televised on a tape-delay basis on ESPN2 on Jan. 14 at 3:30 p.m. ET. This will be the fifth appearance in the Super Six Challenge for the Nittany Lions, who also competed in 2001 (sixth), 2002 (sixth), 2003 (fifth) and 2005 (fifth).

Penn State opens up the 2007 home slate next weekend when it hosts Arkansas on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Rec Hall. The meet is a double-dual with the Nittany Lion men¡¯s team, who host Army.
