All-Big Ten Second Team honoree...Competed in all 12 team meets during her freshman season...Competed in the all-around in 10 meets...Opened her Nittany Lion career with a career-best 9.800 on the balance beam against Bowling Green, BYU and Temple (1/7)...In her first career all-around, Politz tallied a career-best 39.050 to finish third at Nebraska (1/15)...Also at Nebraska, Politz recorded a career-best 9.875 on the uneven bars and she tied a career-best 9.800 on the balance beam (1/15)...Against Maryland, Politz tied a career-best 39.050 in the all-around and set a career-best 9.825 on the floor exercise for her first career event title (1/21)...Posted a career-best score of 9.850 on the vault against Michigan State (2/4)...Tied a career-best 9.875 on the uneven bars at the Penn Quad Meet (3/5)...At the Big Ten Championships, Politz placed 16th in the all-around (38.775) and finished 21st on the uneven bars (9.800) (3/18)...At the NCAA Regional, Politz finished 18th in the all-around (37.050) and took sixth on the uneven bars (9.850) (4/1).
Trained at Rebound Gymnastics under coach Diane Farrell...Qualified for the Level 10 USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic National Championship meet six-consecutive times...2016: At the national championships, Politz finished 13th in the all-around and third on the floor exercise...At regionals, she finished sixth in the all-around, third on vault and fifth on bars...At the New Jersey state meet, Politz finished second in the all-around, third on vault, second on bars, first on beam and second on the floor exercise...Named 2016 New Jersey Optional Gymnast of the Year across Levels 7, 8, 9 and 10...2015: Politz placed sixth in the nation on the uneven bars at the Level 10 National Championships...At regionals, she finished fourth in the all-around and third on beam...At the New Jersey state meet, she finished first in the all-around and all four events...2014: As a level 10, Politz finished fourth on the floor exercise at the national championships, third all-around and first on the floor exercise at Regionals and second in the all-around and on vault at New Jersey States...2013: As a level 10, Politz placed seventh on bars at the national championships... At regionals, she finished second in the all-around, beam and the floor exercise...At the New Jersey state meet, she placed second in the all-around, beam and the floor exercise...As a senior, competed at Saint John Vianney High School and captained her gymnastics team to an inaugural second-place finish at the New Jersey State Championship...Named one of 30 New Jersey State Scholar-Athletes in 2016...At the high school State Championship, Politz captured the all-around and floor exercise titles and finished second on the vault...Earned New Jersey high school sectional all-around and floor exercise championship titles and runner-up on the vault...Awarded Shore Conference all-around, vault and floor exercise champion...Broke the Shore Conference all-around record and tied the vault record...Named to the New Jersey All-State High School Girls Gymnastics Team...
