Katie Futcher (The Woodlands, Texas) shot a final round score of 75 to claim the individual title at the Nittany Lion Invitational at the Penn State Blue Course on Sunday.
The Nittany Lions also claimed the team crown with a total score of 902 - nine shots ahead of James Madison and Rollins College, who tied for second at 911.
Futcher finished with a three-round score of 220 (69-76-75) to finish two shots ahead of James Madison's Jessica Lewis and Rollins' Mariana DeBiase, each of which carded a 222.
Other top finishers for Penn State included Meghan Mull (Naperville, Ill.), Cynthia Skilton (Paoli, Pa.) and Amber Weinerth (Auburn, N.Y.) who each finished at 231 overall.
The Penn State women's golf team returns to action on Fri.-Sat., October 18-19 when it travels to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Mercedes Intercollegiate.
