University Park, Pa.; September 23, 2006¨C After two rounds, Penn State leads the Nittany Lion Invitational with a team score of 45- over 621. Washington, the second place team, trails Penn State by eight strokes.

Rollins, who led Penn State by one stroke going into round two, fell to fifth place with a score of 63-over 639.

Senior Evelyn Paik shot par on the back nine and shot three-over 75, giving her a total score of seven-over 151, which moved to first place. Sophomore Brittany Fisher remained in second place with a two-round score of nine-over 153. Amber Prange of Washington is in third place, one stroke behind Fisher.

Junior Christin Pacacha shot par on the front nine and overall shot two-over 74. She improved her score from yesterday by 11 strokes, making her two round score 15-over 159. Freshman Katherine Murphy also improved her score from yesterday by 13 shots, shooting six-over 78.

Other notable scores for the Nittany Lion team were contributed by junior Megan Padua and senior Maggie Lester. Both Padua and Lester finished today¡¯s round shooting seven-over 79. Sara Lester, Michele Romano, and Emily Pavesich also participated in round two for the Nittany Lions. Romano and Pavesich competed as individuals.

The final round of the Nittany Lion Invitational will be tomorrow, September 24 at Penn State Blue Course with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m.
