STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- The Penn State women's golf team will open the 2000 fall schedule in about three weeks.
In the season opener, the Nittany Lions travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the College of Charleston Invitational on Sept. 8-10.
PSU then heads west to Minneapolis as the Minnesota Golden Gophers host the Lady Northern Invitational, the precursor to next spring's Big Ten Championship.
On Oct. 13-15, Penn State hosts its own Nittany Lion Invitational at the University's Blue Course. The Nittany Lions close out the fall slate at the Pine Needles Invitational in North Carolina, hosted by Rollins College, on Nov. 6-8.
In the spring, Penn State tees off Feb. 26-27 at the Carolina Collegiate Classic in Pinehurst, N.C.
Prior to Spring Break, the Nittany Lions travel to Silicon Valley for the San Jose State's Spartan Invitational on March 5-7.
PSU then heads back to the state of North Carolina for two meets, participating in UNC-Wilmington's Lady Seahawk on March 26-27 and the Bryan Park Invitational on April 6-8.
The Nittany Lions return to Minneapolis for the 2001 Big Ten Championship on April 27-29, before NCAA regional action begins May 9-12.
