Women’s Competes In Opening Rounds of Big Ten Championship

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State women’s golf team competed in the opening two rounds of the Big Ten Championship in Urbana, Ill. The Nittany Lions are in ninth place with a score of 621. Ohio State is leading the Championship with a score of 586.

Meghan Mull (Naperville, Ill.) is the Nittany Lion’s highest placer. She is tied for 15th with five other golfers with a score of 151 (+7). Mull is only two shots out of the top ten.

Katie Futcher (Woodlands, Texas) is currently tied for 24th with a score of 154 (+10), while teammate Keri Dugan (Erie, Pa.)is tied for 39th with a score of 157 (+13). ,p> Mollie Fankhauser and Lindsay Knowlton both of Ohio State lead the tournament with scores of 143 (-1).
