Penn State's Brianna Malcolmson Sets Career Low

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Sophomore Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia) shot a low round of 68 during the final round of the Canes and Cardinals Classic in Miami, Fla. Her previous low score was 69.

The current program record is held by Katie Futcher who scored a 67 twice during her career. Futcher also scored a 68 once during her time at Penn State.

"I felt really happy and proud of myself," said Malcolmson. "I was glad that I was able to hold it together and stay under par. I even got a birdie on the last hole."

Malcolmson has consistently led the Nittany Lions during her time at Penn State. She led the team during the Canes and Cardinals Classic with scores of 79- 76- 68 (223).
