WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (Mar. 8, 2004) Freshman Katrin Wolfe (Johnstown, Pa.) shot a two-round score of 78-79-157 to help lead the Penn State women¡¯s golf team to a fifth-place standing with a score of 642 after the first two rounds of the Peggy Kirk Bell Classic at Tuscawilla Country Club.

Miami (Fla.) leads the event with 310, James Madison is second with 614, Rollins is third with 615 and North Carolina-Greensboro is fourth with 633.

Wolfe is tied for 12th and is followed by sophomore Amber Weinerth (Auburn, N.Y.), who is tied for 19th after a two-round score of 82-77-159.

Freshman Evelyn Paik (Toronto, Ontario) is tied for 31st (83-80-163), freshman Maggie Lester (Oswego, N.Y.) is tied for 41st (83-82-165) and junior Lauren Lundy (Wayne, Pa.) is tied for 45th (81-85-166).

Penn State won the event last year with a two-round score of 607.

Tuesday¡¯s final day will consist of 18 holes with tee times starting at 8:15 a.m.
