The Penn State field hockey team checked in at the No. 2 spot in the latest  National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) poll, as released Tuesday morning.

UConn moved up one spot to take the No. 1 ranking with 1,129 points and 28 first-place votes, while Penn State inched up one place to come in at No. 2 with 1,083 points and 13 first-place votes.
