STATE COLLEGE, Pa., January 4, 2001 - Penn State junior forward Kiley Kulina (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) was selected to the U.S. Field Hockey Under 21 Team as announced by the USA Field Hockey Association.

Kulina is one of 11 members returning from last year's squad which qualified for the 2001 International Hockey Federation's Junior World Cup after a second-place finish at the Junior Pan American Championships. The World Cup is scheduled for May 14-26 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and will feature teams from China, France and the Netherlands.

Kulina helped the 2000 Lady Lions to a second-place finish in the Big Ten and a 19th-consecutive NCAA Tournament berth. She earned first team all-conference honors for the first time and was also named second team all-Americans. She was third on the team in scoring with 31 points on 13 goals and five assists.
