KENT, Ohio - No. 4 Penn State completed the come-from-behind victory over Kent State, rallying from down 2-0 to Kent State to clinch the 10th win of the season Sunday afternoon at Murphy-Mellis Field. 

Trailing 2-0 to Kent State (4-9), Penn State (10-2, 3-1) scored three straight to take a one-goal lead into the break.

The first of the three goals came from Katie Dembrowski who converted the penalty corner into points with Moira Putsch and Maddie Morano each earning an assist.

Putsch took care of the next two Nittany Lion goals, scoring unassisted to give Penn State a 3-2 lead.

Out of the break, Kent State let it be known they wouldn't go down without a fight, knotting the game at three apiece on a goal by Clara Rodriguez-Seto in the 47th-minute.

Cori Conley broke the 3-3 tie to give the Nittany Lions a one-goal lead (assisted by Putsch) before Aurelia Meijer scored the games final goal, assisted by Putsch in the 59th-minute.

Putsch, who led the NCAA in assists last season, had a hand in every Penn State goal for the Nittany Lions. The junior from Media, Pa. has 11 goals, 10 assists totaling 31 points that are individual team highs this season. Putsch has also been responsible for the game-winning goal on three occasions this year.

This is only the third time that the Nittany Lions have been outshot (17-13) this season but improves to 2-1 in such games.

Jenny Rizzo improves to 10-2 on the season, making five saves in today's win against non-conference foe Kent State to improve her season total to 64.

Penn State improves to 4-0 all-time vs. Kent State.

Penn State will be back in action Friday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. when the Nittany Lions take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio on Big Ten Network.
