AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Started 20 games and played in all 24, primarily at the left back position and was a solid defender all year for the Nittany Lions ... Did not start in the first four games of the season before starting in the final 18 ... Recorded two shots, putting them both on goal, and also had one goal on the year ... Part of a defense that recorded a Big Ten-leading nine shutouts and that had a 1.26 goals against average, which ranked 13th in the country and second in the Big Ten ...
