Hiss is 39-4 this year and has a 115-19 career record. Joining Hiss in the Saber is freshman phenom Caitlin Thompson (Portland, Ore.). Thompson won the 2006 Regional Championship and carries a 21-4 record with her to nationals.

In the epee, 2003 NCAA National Champion Katarzyna Trzopek (Warsaw, Poland) will look to build upon her legacy after surging to a runner-up finish at regionals. Trzopek, a senior who was also an All-American in 2004 but has suffered through injury troubles since, is 20-6 this year and has a 141-18 career record.
